Well, one day last summer, I stumbled upon two stools that were priced just right ($20/stool) so I put them into my cart and took them home.
They sat in my basement for some time until I found an amazing P Kaufmann wheat, tan and taupe animal print ribbed cotton.
So, I tackled my first slipcover project and with some help from Miss Mustard Seed's custom piping and cutting fabric tutorials. http://missmustardseed.blogspot.com/2011/03/video-slipcover-tutorial-series-part-3.html With her assistance, I was able to complete my first slipcover project and voila...
Let me know what your think!
These are fabulous! I love animal print, they look really expensive. I love your blog by the way, just discovered it!
ReplyDeleteFinally found your delightful Larissa Hill Design site & I love everything you have created & posted...You have an amazing creative talent...You are inspiring me to attempt to paint a little "grade one or two" school chair that I purchased some 40 years ago from the grade school that my children attended...I love that little school chair as it brings back wonderful memories for me & it sits in my front entrance...I have, however, always wanted to paint it but never had the courage but now I am going to...Good Luck to me with Many Thanks for the inspiration, Larissa Hill!
